ALUMOSS precipitates and inactivates phosphorus, which is a nutrient that algae and rooted plants need to grow.

ALUMOSS releases tannic acid, which gently lowers alkalinity and increases the soil's potency to hold water and nutrients by increasing capillary forces and cation exchange capacity.

Potentiates the soil's fertility to hold water and nutrients.
